Last Friday, June 1st, in the facilities of the Tecate Community Museum, a meeting was held with the Diputado Federal José Alfredo Ferreiro Velazco to advise him about the project ¨ El Camino Real de las Californias¨. The goal of the project is to obtain the designation of El Camino Real de las Californias on the peninsula of Baja California as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Among those in attendance for Corredor Histórico CAREM, A.C. was President Hernan Ibañez Bracamontes and members of the Board of Directors, from the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) Lic. Horacio González y Lic. Arcelia Pazos, the delegate from the office of the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Lic. Eva Raquel Garcia Rocha and members of the diputado’s staff Lic. Francisco Javier y Franklin García.
