The Tecate Community Museum (see brochure) is dedicated to fostering greater understanding of the cultural, historical and natural heritage of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico and the larger binational region to which it belongs. Located in the Tecate Cultural Center (CECUTEC) (see map), the museum includes:
Three permanent exhibit areas
Ethnobotanical gardens
A traditional Kumiai house and shade ramada
gift store offering traditional indigenous arts
Administrative offices and restrooms
HOURS: The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
